Real Estate Agent induction

Welcome to the Defence Housing Australia’s Real Estate Agent induction briefing.

Before commencing work with DHA, we invite you to watch an induction video briefing. We also encourage all workers who will be undertaking work on our properties to watch the video.

The briefing provides important information about:

  • DHA as an organisation
  • Our stakeholders
  • What is expected of you as a service provider, and
  • Managing Privacy

The induction briefing has been tailored to accommodate those Estate Agents managing Civilian Tenancies (CTEN) and those managing Remote Inspections. Please refer to the induction briefing relevant to your contract with DHA.

WHS mandatory induction module

As part of DHA's commitment to work health and safety, all DHA contractors who complete work on a DHA site, including managed properties, are required to complete a contractor WHS induction module. It is recommended that all contractor workers also complete the WHS induction module.

The WHS induction module provides information on:

  • DHA’s and contractors’ WHS obligations
  • Hazard identification and risk management
  • WHS incident reporting
  • WHS resource links.

To complete the WHS induction module you are required to:

  • Download the PDF document below and ensure you read all pages
  • Once you have read the PDF document, send an email to whs@dha.gov.au with your DHA Contractor ID number (you can obtain this from your Online Services account) or your business name, confirming you have completed the WHS induction module.

Download the WHS induction module document here (PDF 864 KB).
