Who is MCA for?
Member Without Dependants (MWOD)
A Defence member who does not have any dependants.
Member With Dependants (Unaccompanied) (MWD(U))
Defence member who maintains a home for dependants and
who is separated from them for service recognised reasons.
MWOD and MWD(U) Choice Accommodation (MCA)
Offers quality off-base rental properties to eligible Defence members.

MCA has been developed to meet the housing needs of MWOD and MWD(U) Defence members.

Sharing an MCA property
You can choose to share an MCA property with another serving Defence member (up to two members per property). If you wish to share with another Defence member, please contact your Regional Offices (RO) to discuss this option and gain approval.
Please note, civilians cannot occupy MCA properties.
