Getting there
Defence Accommodation Precinct - Darwin is approximately 27 km east of Darwin CBD in the suburb of Howard Springs. It is available during the dry season only. The main entrance open 24hours/day is located on Howard Springs Rd, off Stuart Highway. Shuttle buses are available, contact Reception.

- Keys can be collected after 1400 from Reception.
- Rooms to be left free of rubbish and keys to be returned by 1000 to Reception.
- Inform reception of lost keys immediately.
Security arrangements
A valid Defence pass is required to gain access to this location. Visiting Defence personnel should familiarise themselves with any additional security arrangements prior to arrival. Non-ADO personnel occupying LIA are required to have base approval prior to arrival. This includes members of foreign forces, minors, non-ADO visitors.

Provisions
Your room will be clean on arrival with fresh linen (sheets, pillow slips, towels and floor mats). Linen will be exchanged every Wednesday if left outside your door by 0900.
For further information about your room, contact Reception. It is essential that you are aware of your LIA obligations in accordance with PACMAN, Annex 7.3.A: Licence to Live In.
