17 July 2012 DHA and Raiders join forces in 2013

The Canberra Raiders are proud to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Defence Housing Australia (DHA), a market leader in residential property investment sales.

The two-year agreement will see the DHA logo appear on both sleeves and the back of
the Raiders home and away jerseys for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

DHA Managing Director Michael Del Gigante said the sponsorship will help raise the
profile of DHA and its activities, particularly its property investment sales program.

“DHA is self-funded; our business model relies on revenue generated from the sale of
properties to investors each year, under a leaseback arrangement” said Mr Del Gigante.
“Our properties are typically purchased by ‘mum and dad’ investors. The Raiders provide
an excellent opportunity to reach families and NRL fans across the country.”

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the club is excited about the new partnership
agreement with such a highly-regarded company like DHA.

“DHA plays a vital role in supporting the men and women of Australia’s Defence Force,
managing over 19,000 properties Australia-wide, worth around $10 billion,” Mr Furner
said.

“They are also a major player in the residential property and construction industries,
developing communities and providing wealth creation opportunities for astute investors.

“This new partnership shows great support for our club and its activities. The new
jerseys look fantastic. I know the players are already excited to run out in them next
season.”
