12 August 2016 Premium land lots hit the market at Sale

Fourteen premium land lots will be released to the public this Saturday, 13 August, at the official launch of Woondella Stage Six, on the outskirts of Sale.

Local sales agents, LJ Hooker, will be onsite from 10am to celebrate the launch and welcome visitors to a community event to be held at the Woondella play park. Free kids’ activities will include a jumping castle, face painting and a charity barbeque raising funds for the Rotary Club.

Woondella creates a new standard of living in Sale, reflecting the historical and cultural values of the area. The site is set amongst beautiful, 100-year-old established red gums with an impressive entrance, quiet streets and more than 2.5 hectares of parkland.

Woondella is close to sporting areas, the Sale Showgrounds, Gippsland Grammar, Sale Town Centre and Sale V/Line station for easy access to Melbourne and surrounds.
LJ Hooker director, Tony Kiss, said Woondella Stage Six offered some of the best residential blocks on the market.

‘We’ve received a lot of interest from first home buyers and families, who are looking for a rural lifestyle with the convenience of living close to the town centre,’ Mr Kiss said.

Award-winning developer, Defence Housing Australia (DHA), is completing the final two stages of the highly popular estate.

The 5.6 hectare Woondella will be developed into 47 residential land lots. DHA will allocate approximately 35 per cent for quality housing for Defence members and their families.

DHA Acting Managing Director, Ms Jan Mason, said Woondella enabled DHA to provide homes for locally-based Defence members in an established community setting.

‘Woondella will accommodate Defence families based at RAAF Base East Sale,’ Ms Mason said. ‘Providing appealing family homes in quality neighbourhoods assists Defence in attracting and retaining skilled personnel.’

Woondella is just two kilometres from Sale CBD. Surrounded by spectacular natural scenery and yet only a short walk to Sale’s city centre, Woondella is the perfect balance between urban and rural living. A range of walking and cycling paths will link residents to the heart of Sale, offering ease of access to and from the city centre.

Lots range in size from 504 square metres to 736 square metres and will be priced from $126,000. A number of premium lots fronting onto the nature reserve, home to 100-year-old red gum trees, are available.
