When Chris McGuire called his wife Katie to tell her they had won a $50,000 prize package in a promotion at Breezes Muirhead, she was excited and very surprised.
‘I’ve never won anything at all, ever before,’ said Chris.
The prize package includes an Aluvan Razor boat with trailer from Frenchy’s Marine; Costas seven-piece dining setting; an outdoor lounge suite and new hooded barbeque from Harvey Norman; a fully installed 4.5kw Solar Edge PV system from Country Solar; landscaping design consultation by Cloustons and Associates; and a $15,000 landscaping package from B&K Revegetation and Landscaping.
Defence Housing Australia (DHA) and Investa Land, developers of Breezes Muirhead, ran the promotion from October 2015 to February 2016. Every purchaser who exchanged contracts on a lot during this period entered the draw for an opportunity to win the $50,000 lifestyle package.
‘We feel very fortunate. Everything in the package is great and will be put to good use,’ Chris said.
The couple lives close to Breezes Muirhead in Alawa. This is the third land lot they have purchased at Breezes Muirhead. Chris, a local builder, has already built homes on two of the lots, which the couple have turned into successful investment properties.
‘Breezes Muirhead is a great location, close to the Royal Darwin Hospital, Casuarina Square and the beach, yet still close to the CBD. This has helped us attract quality tenants,’ Chris said.
