In late July, the latest land release at DHA's Breezes Muirhead, Aquilo, sold out in hours. All 52 land lots, with a combined value in excess of $15 million, sold to buyers eager to claim a stake in the sought-after residential development. This is the fourth consecutive land release at Breezes Muirhead to sell out.
Savvy purchasers were keen to secure lots in the neighbourhood due to its enviable position close to a corridor of existing bushland and within 400 metres of the 2.2 hectares Woodland Park, which features shady trees, playground equipment and barbeque facilities.
“This land release attracted strong interest from families because lots are so close to Woodland Park, said Mr Paul Perkovic, Project Director, Investa Land. “The park’s giant climbing frame, adventure playground and open green space where children can safely engage in active play, is a big selling point for families.”
Breezes Muirhead is being developed by Investa Land and DHA on a 167 hectares site at Muirhead, 16 kilometres north of Darwin’s CBD. On completion it will include more than 30 hectares of public open space, five kilometres of cycleways and walkways, a fitness circuit and four community parks with quality playground equipment and barbecue facilities.

Breezes Muirhead is located close to primary and high schools, Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital. Casuarina Square and the multitude of recreational activities available at Casuarina Coastal Reserve and Buffalo Creek boat ramp are within easy reach.
Lots in the Aquilo Land Release One ranged in size from 450sqm to 804sqm and were priced from $295,000. Territorians keen to secure land in future releases of this masterplanned neighbourhood, should visit the Breezes Muirhead Land Sales Centre to register their interest.
