The properties we sell and lease reflect the contemporary needs of Australian families.

This is because Defence members who reside in these properties need secure and comfortable homes, integrated throughout the community, and close to schools, shops, transport and other amenities.

Our diverse portfolio includes free-standing houses, townhouses and apartments.

Properties are located in most capital cities and major regional centres throughout Australia where the Australian Defence Force has a presence.

Although the majority of our properties are recently constructed, on occasion we offer properties that are up to 10 years old. This is because we have retained them for a period before choosing to sell them.

Free-standing houses are typically three or four bedroom with lounge and dining rooms, bathroom, ensuite, laundry, double garage and outdoor entertaining area.

Townhouses or apartments are typically one to three bedroom with open plan living areas, bathroom, ensuite and secure parking.

Landscaping, heating and/or cooling are included, to suit the local climate conditions.

Many of our properties are part of DHA’s award-winning developments and may include low energy and water use features with a focus on human well-being and protecting the biodiversity of local flora and fauna.

Rent is subject to abatement in limited circumstances. Rent is paid where the property is able to be occupied. Should a property become uninhabitable during the term of the lease or due to a lessor’s breach of the lease terms, the rent may be withheld until the property has been rectified and can be re-occupied. Ongoing rent are subject to the terms of the lease. DHA does not take into account an investors objectives or financial needs. Investors should always seek appropriate advice before making any investment decisions with DHA.
