Changes to your personal circumstances
If your personal circumstance change, your housing eligibility and contribution may require review.
Defence will notify DHA details to support a review in the following circumstances:
- Categorisation change
- Rank change
- Period of approved leave without pay
For all other changes, log in to Online Services and update your details, such as:
- number of dependents change
- any sharing arrangements with people other than your recognised dependants.
Defence reviews and adjusts member contribution rates annually, usually in January. Details of changes will be reflected on your payslip.
DHA conducts an annual inspection of our properties whilst they are tenanted to ADF members. We may also conduct other inspections from time to time, such as when we are organising the sale or valuation of the property, lessor inspections (if the property is leased to another party) and checking the property prior to you vacating.
