The DHA team recently greeted approximately 30 local community members in the leafy suburb of Glenroy, eager to learn more about this long awaited development.
DHA Development Manager Jaryd Collins and Town Planner Jose Virguez from Taylors Development Strategists were on hand to talk to residents and answer questions. Topics raised on the day included traffic flow, project timelines and improvements to sound quality from the adjacent train line.
Jaryd Collins commented, ‘we are very happy with the turnout to this event, after years of this site being left as open space, there is clearly a keen interest from the local community to see this fantastic development come to life.’
Located in the leafy inner-northern suburb of Glenroy, this boutique development will set the benchmark for DHA housing in Melbourne. When complete, this community will feature 62 residences. DHA will build 25 properties for Defence members and their families, with the remaining homes to be sold to the public.
