12 December 2014 AE2 residents celebrate end of year

Residents recently came out to enjoy the 'community end of year party' at the AE2 residential development in Ermington. The community event was to celebrate one year since AE2 welcomed its first residents and the final completion of all 210 townhouses this year.

Federal Member John Alexander and State Member Geoff Lee mingled with more than 80 residents and all spoke highly of how much they love living at the development.

The Ermington Residents Committee (ERC) and Rydalmere Public School hosted the community barbeque which included delicious baked treats.

Activities for the children included a kids jumping castle, train rides around the park, face painting, balloon modelling and two special guest appearances by DHA's Rex D. Dog and Santa Claus himself. The Rosehill local police squad car turned up with flashing lights and the sirens and this was a hit with the kids.

Development Manager Gully Coote said this day was three years in the making, 'We started this project with a community vision and it's very exciting to see that vision come to fruition. It makes me so proud that residents love living here and love the history not only of the site, but the name AE2.'
